“AWAKEN CHURCH OF CHRIST” MOVEMENT

72 hours of Fasting, Prayer and Cry for the Country and the Nations of the World

TARGET AUDIENCE:

All Evangelical Churches, which have the Bible as their only rule of faith and practice, in Brazil and in the Nations.

MISSION:

Spiritually combat the wave of pestilence, death, fear, famine, injustice, war and violence that are the result of the iniquity practiced by human beings against the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

EYESIGHT:

Involve as many Evangelical Churches as possible across the country, in an uninterrupted 72-hour movement of Fasting, Prayer and Crying for the Country and for the Nations in the World, from April 2nd to 5th, 2020.

BIBLICAL BASES:

We believe, in the light of the Bible, that these Waves of Plague, Death, Famine, War, Catastrophes and other Desolations can be analyzed from a spiritual point of view in two aspects: 

First: the Wickedness of the people drawing the Wrath of God upon the Earth as always happened at all times. 

Second: God wanting to manifest his Glory, Power and Salvation to humanity, through the Action of his People, the Church of Christ. It was like that in Egypt with Joseph, Moses and the people of Israel. So it was in Nineveh with Jonah! So it was with the Israelite nation itself in the days of Ahab confronted by the prophet Elijah, etc. 

Therefore, God has a Solution to this Crisis, and the Church has the Responsibility to manifest the Glory and Power of God to bless the Earth today, through Intercessory Prayer! 

PRAYER STRATEGY: 7 SPECIFIC REASONS TO CRY

1. Ask God to break the Hearts of its Pastors and Leaders, and of all Christians and cleanse his Church from the contamination of Sin and worldliness (2 Cor 11.2-4).

        May he restore the Intentional Unity of the Church of Christ (John 17:16-23).  

        May he bring back those who failed to gather (Hebrews 10:25)  

        and prepare your “Bride for the Bridegroom” (John 3:29-30).

2. Ask God to awaken the Church's Spiritual Vision so that it can return to its Primitive Pillars (Acts 2:42-47); assume your Position of “Embassy of Heaven” on Earth (2 Cor 5.18-20); seek the Holy Spirit's Enduement of Power (Eph 6:10-20); Fight evil and Bless the people of the Earth with the message of Christ's Salvation (Mt 5:13-16).

3. Ask God to destroy the effects of the Coronavirus and free the people from this Plague and others, such as: H1n1, Influenza, Dengue, Chikungunya, Zika virus, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Measles, etc. (2 Chronicles 7:13-14).

4. Ask God for His Kingdom to come on Earth, with: “Justice, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom 14:17), undoing Lies, Corruption, Injustice and Social Inequality. As well as all kinds of Violence, Organized Crime, Prostitution, Witchcraft, and restore the Divine Principles in the Family, Ethics, Morals, Politics and Legislation of the Country, bringing your good, pleasant and perfect Will ( Rom 12:2).

5. Ask God to give Wisdom and Direction to the President of the Country and protect his Mind, his Emotions, his Body, his Family and the entire Team of Ministers of his government from the attacks of darkness (1 Tim 2.1-4), giving them Ability to Rule with Serenity.

6. Ask God to guide the minds of those who govern each Nation. In Brazil, the Ministers and Presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, the STF, the STJ, and the entire National Congress and Ministries, so that there is Harmony, Unity and Synergism between all the Powers that govern the Nation (1 Tim 2.1- 4).

7. Ask God to open the Windows of Heaven and bless Agriculture, Livestock, Industry, Commerce and all the Businesses of the Country, strengthening the Economy and taking away Hunger and Misery from the People (Mal 3.10-11).

LOGISTICS OF THESE 3 DAYS OF FASTING AND PRAYER:

a) The church will be able to distribute the 72 hours for 72 people to pray at home,  

     1 hour each. If the congregation is smaller, you can increase the amount  

     of each person's prayer time (2 or 3 hours) and alternate the period  

     in which they will pray over and over again.

b) Where possible, without restrictions, churches that have an upper room,  

      or prayer tower, you can use these spaces for people to pray alone  

      for an hour, or in pairs, or small groups for 2 or 3 hours.

c) Where possible, if there is no government restriction, some churches  

     will be able to organize 2 or 3 hour prayer shifts, covering day and night, for  

     small groups, where each group prays a turn (For example: 72:3=24 groups  

     of 4 or more people).  

     If the congregation is small, some groups may pray in 2 or 3 shifts  

     alternating.  

     If the church is large, these groups may be larger or the shifts may have    

     shorter time.

d) The congregation will summon all families to fast, pray, cry and worship the  

     God, gathering in their homes at 00:00h, 06:00h, 12:00h, 15:00h and 18:00h.  

     While a group will be praying in the temple, families will be praying and  

     worshiping in the houses.

e) Churches that are organized into Departments, Ministries, Networks or  

     Cells, can distribute these Turns among these Leaders and, these, will assume the  

     command of the people they lead, to cover the Prayer Shifts, being able to  

     take the same shift for 3 days. If this is possible, the temple will remain  

     open with Worship and Prayer for 24 hours (mainly in other Nations or  

     Cities where there are no Restrictions for Churches to Gather).

PRAYER MEETING SCHEDULE:

All Shifts and Prayer Meetings in the Temple and Houses will begin with Praise, Worship and the Ministry of a Biblical Word. Then, individually, everyone will prostrate himself before God to pray for himself and intercede for what he wants. Then, the Leader will distribute the Motives for Prayer among the Group Members for a time of Intercession, where one prays and the others agree (Mt 18.19-20). In this way, you will pray for the 7 Reasons for Prayer.

START: April 02, 2020, Thursday at 18:00h,  

              with Praise, Worship, Word and Cry.

CLOSING: April 5, 2020, Sunday at 6:00 pm, starting with Praise  

                                  Worship, Cry and, as it is Sunday, if possible, the Worship

  6. Ask God to guide the minds of those who govern each nation. To the Ministers and Presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, so that there is Armonia, Unidad and Synergy between all the Powers that govern the Nation (1 Tim 2.1-4)

  7. Asking God to open the Winds of the sky and bless the Agriculture, the Farmers, the Industry, the Commerce and all the Businesses of the country, strengthening the Economy and eliminating the Hambre and the Misery of the People (Mal 3.10-11 ).

  LOGÍSTICA DE ESTOS 3 DAYS OF AYUNO AND ORACIÓN:

  a) The church can distribute the 72 hours so that 72 people can be at home,

      1 hour each. If the congregation is smaller, you can increase the number

      of the prayer time of each person (2 or 3 hours) and alternating the period

  b) Where it is possible, without restrictions, churches that have a high room,

       the prayer tower, you can use these spaces for people to pray alone

  e) Churches that are organized into Departments, Ministries, Networks or

      Cells, can distribute these Shifts among these Leaders and, these, will assume the

      command of the people who lead to take the same shift for 3 days.  if this is     

      possible, the temple will remain open with Worship and Prayer for 24 hours (mainly  

      in other Nations or Cities where there are no restrictions for churches to  

      congregate).

  SCHEDULE OF PRAYER MEETINGS:

  All Shifts and Prayer Meetings in the Temple and in the Homes will begin with Praise, Worship and the Ministry of a Biblical Word.  Then, individually, everyone will prostrate themselves before God to pray for themselves and intercede for whatever they want.  Then, the Leader will distribute the Prayer Targets among the Group Members for a time of Intercession, where one prays and the others agree (Mt 18. 19-20).  In this way, they will pray for the 7 Prayer Targets.

  START: April 2, 2020, Thursday at 6 pm,

               with Praise, Worship, Word of God and Cry.

  CLOSING: April 5, 2020, Sunday at 6 pm, starting with Praise

                    Worship, Clamor and, because it is Sunday, being possible, the Worship

72 ore di digiuno, preghiera e pianto per il Paese e le Nazioni del mondo. 

PUBBLICO TARGET: Tutte le Chiese evangeliche, che hanno la Bibbia com unica regola di fede e pratice, in Brasile e nelle Nazioni. 

MISSION: 

Fight spiritually the ondata of pestilenza, death, terror, fame, ingiustizia, war and violence che è il risultato dell'iniquità practica dagli esseri umani contro il Dio di Abramo, Isacco and Giacobbe. 

VIEW: 

Coinvolgi il maggior numero possibile di Chiese evangeliche da tutto il paese, in a movement di 72 ore uninterrotte di digiuno, preghiera e pianto per il Paese and per le Nazioni del mondo, dal 2 al 5 aprile 2020. 

BIBLICAL BASIS: 

Crediamo, alla luce della Bibbia, che queste ondate di peste, mortalità, fame, war, catastrofi e altre devastazioni podeno essere analizzate dal point di vista spirituale in due aspetti:

PREGHIERA STRATEGY: 7 MOTIVI SPECIFICI PER IL CLAMO 

1. Chiedere a Dio di spezzare il cuore dei suoi Pastori e direnti, e di tutti i cristiani e di purify la sua Church dalla contaminazione del peccato e della mondanità (2 Cor 11,2-4).

LOGISTICS DI QUESTI 3 GIORNI DI DIGIUNO AND PREGHIERA:
