The vision of the 24-hour Gideons continues to advance among the nations. After completing the AOB (Learning to Pray with the Bible) course, the Lagoinha Baptist Church in Rio Branco, Uruguay, anointed its first 12 Gideons, initiating the Prayer Tower in the church.

A historic and prophetic moment marked the Lagoinha Baptist Church in Rio Branco, Uruguay. After an intense period of teaching and training during the AOB Course — Learning to Pray with the Bible — twelve intercessors were consecrated and anointed as the church's first Gideons.

The course was taught by pastors David Aranguiz and Claudia Rios, who shared biblical principles on intercession, prayer life, and the call to stand before the Lord on behalf of the Church and the nations.

At the end of the training, the participants were anointed and sent out to start the Prayer Tower at Lagoinha Uruguai.

The tower begins with 12 Gideons committed to supporting God's work through intercession, praying for the church, the city, and the advancement of God's Kingdom in the country.

The beginning of this Prayer Tower represents a new spiritual era for the local church, strengthening the culture of prayer and raising up intercessors willing to watch and remain in the presence of the Lord.

The establishment of the Gideons at Lagoinha Uruguai also marks another step in the international expansion of the ministry, which has erected prayer towers in various nations, mobilizing Christians to remain before God in continuous intercession.

With faith and expectation, the church celebrates this beginning, believing that many more intercessors will be raised up to strengthen the tower and sustain, in prayer, God's purposes for Uruguay and for the nations.
