Amidst the routines, challenges, and requests we bring before God daily, we often focus so much on crying out for answers that we forget something essential in the Christian walk: gratitude.
Gratitude is an important hallmark of the life of those who walk with the Lord. The Bible teaches us repeatedly to remember God's works and acknowledge His faithfulness at all times.
It was with this purpose that the Gideões 24h Diante do Senhor ministry held another Thanksgiving Service, a special gathering to pause before God and acknowledge all that He has done.
A moment to give thanks.
The service was marked by an atmosphere of praise, prayer, and deep gratitude. Each moment was an opportunity to remember what the Lord has already accomplished throughout the ministry's journey.
Prayers answered, lives touched, and doors opened by God throughout the missionary and intercessory journey were remembered.
Amidst the testimonies and expressions of gratitude, it became evident that God's faithfulness has accompanied every step of the ministry and all those who are part of this work.
A word that strengthened the church.
During the service, those present were also blessed with a special message delivered by Pastor Flávio, from the Missionary Baptist Church of Amarantina.
The message brought encouragement, edification, and spiritual renewal to the church, reminding everyone of the importance of remaining steadfast in God and continuing to walk with faith, gratitude, and perseverance.
Gratitude that strengthens faith.
Moments like this reinforce an essential truth of the Christian life: when we look back, we realize how faithful God has been in every detail.
The Thanksgiving service thus becomes a time to pause, acknowledge God's work, renew spiritual strength, and move forward with confidence.
May every Christian cultivate a grateful heart, always remembering that, even amidst difficulties, God continues to act, answering prayers and opening paths.
Because when we acknowledge the works of the Lord, our faith is strengthened and our hope is renewed.
