The leader of the Gideões 24h Diante do Senhor ministry, Pastor Ângela Valadão, recently attended a meeting with the Lagoinha Lisboa church in Portugal, where she shared the vision of prayer and discipleship developed by the ministry.
The reception was led by pastors João Evangelista and Gisela Evangelista, who welcomed the pastor and participated in this moment of fellowship and edification.
During the meeting, Pastor Angela presented to the church the work developed by the 24-hour Gideons, highlighting initiatives such as the prayer towers, in addition to projects aimed at new generations: Gideons Juniors, Gideons Teens, and Gideons Little Seeds, which aim to teach children and young people to develop a life of prayer and commitment to God from an early age.
Moments like this strengthen the unity of the Church and broaden its missionary vision among the nations.

Growth of the Church in Portugal
The meeting was also marked by gratitude in witnessing the growth of the Christian faith in the country. According to data mentioned during the visit, about ten years ago Portugal had less than 1% evangelical Christians. Today, that number is approaching 3%.
The event also reinforced the invitation for more Christians to rise up in intercession for the nations. The Gideões 24h ministry's mission is to mobilize the Church for a continuous cry before God, through prayer towers and initiatives that awaken different generations to a life of intercession.
