Israel at War: The Church's Duty at This Time

The wave of conflicts between Israel and Iran has shaken the world. Every war is cruel and always brings a lot of damage, causing destruction, but at the same time it lights up the “warning signal” in the lives of many Christians around the world.
For those of us who recognize the biblical and spiritual importance of Israel, this is not just another political clash—it is a call to intercession.
Since the Old Testament, the Word has instructed us: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6). This commandment has not lost its validity. The city that saw the birth of faith, the earthly ministry of Jesus, and the promise of His return continues to be the center of spiritual and physical battles. In times like these, God’s people need to bend their knees and cry out for an end to violence, for the salvation of souls, and for reconciliation among peoples.
Israel is God’s timepiece for the world. As we look to that land, we see the fulfillment of Scripture happening before our eyes. The role of the church at this time is to stand in the Spirit, crying out for God’s justice to prevail and for lives to be protected, comforted, and even restored.
We cannot ignore the tension and suffering in these conflict-ridden cities: Every explosion that destroys a home, every child who loses their parents, every family who flees in fear, all of this touches the heart of God. Therefore, our cry must be for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the Earth, upon the nations of the Middle East... May Jews and Arabs, and all the peoples of the region know the Prince of Peace, Jesus, and worship the one true God so that “peace without end” may come!
May God have mercy! May the Lord bring peace upon Israel and upon all nations.
Oh, Lord, may Your Kingdom come, and may troubled hearts be saved and find peace in the midst of war and pain. Amen.
Come pray with us on our Prayer Journey!
