Counselor training course held in Belo Horizonte

On June 7th, to the glory of God, another Course for Training Counselors was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of the Gideons Kids and Teens in Belo Horizonte.

We had the opening of the Course with praise, giving all honor and glory to the only one who is worthy, our beloved King Jesus!

After a warm opening, we had the beginning of our Course, marked by sweet memories of the history of the Ministry and its founders and, then, we talked about prayer and intercession for children and young people.

Teaching was given about the importance of the biblical basis for working with children and teenagers, as we know that the great influence of today's society brings evil concepts that transgress the Word of God and directly affect the behavior of our little ones and young people, taking them away from the path of the Lord.

What a wonderful time of fellowship, teaching and understanding of the Word we had with our precious brothers in Christ and future teachers and leaders, hallelujah!

For the Word tells us: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6)

We are immensely grateful to our beloved teachers Silvania Santos and Quezia Castro for their love and care in training new counselors and to pastors Tânia Rezende and Adma Braga, for being tireless in the mission of taking the Ministry's vision to various churches in Brazil and in the nations.
