Introduction to Apologetics - The  defense of the faith 

 The author is a professor of Apologetics and writes on this very important topic for the Christian. The pastor  Hermes quotes 1 Peter 3:15, which says, "But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have."
 The word translated in this verse as "answer" is, in the Greek language, "apology" (that is, "defense" or "reasonable argument") which is part of the life of the authentic Christian, who walks in solid faith, provided by God.

 Hermes Caires Jr was born in Belo Horizonte, pastor, married and father of two. He was a missionary in China for seven years, working with various training, development and social welcoming projects.
