Gideões Sementinhas, Mirins and Teens promote Family Picnic in May

In celebration of Family Month, the Gideons Sementinhas, Mirins, and Teens held a joyful Family Picnic, bringing together children, parents, leaders, and counselors for a special moment of fellowship, evangelism, and fun.

In Greater Belo Horizonte, the meeting took place at the Pampulha Ecological Park, bringing together Gideons from various churches in the region. In other locations, the coordination team directed that picnics be held in churches and spaces defined by each local group, strengthening the unity of the ministry in different cities.

The program began with prayer followed by a beautiful moment of evangelism. The children went through the park proclaiming the love of Jesus through signs, evangelistic cards, books, and various materials prepared especially to reach the families present. The teenagers participated in an action that caught attention: the distribution of mineral water with evangelistic messages, reminding everyone that Jesus quenches our thirst.

The evangelism carried out by the children moved many people passing through the park, showing that there is no age limit to proclaiming the Word of God. With joy and boldness, the little Gideons demonstrated love for others and dedication to the mission of evangelizing.

Following the evangelistic session, families participated in games, activities, and recreational exercises that fostered integration, joy, and strengthened family bonds. The event concluded with a delicious snack shared with the families, celebrating fellowship and the importance of experiencing moments together in God's presence.

The Family Picnic was marked by much joy, learning, and togetherness, reinforcing the value of the Christian family and the Gideons' commitment to teaching children, from an early age, the importance of evangelism and fellowship.
